Timely dissemination of relevant information coupled with the provision of accurate agro-advisories are critical factors for sustainable agri-food systems across agro-pastoralist households in Sub-Saharan Africa. With the ever changing climate, it is becoming increasingly important for key stakeholders within the agro-pastoralism community to formulate actionable interventions for effective mitigation against the effects of climate change.

Almost every household in the study area reported keeping livestock, and majority being cattle (84%). Other livestock reported by interviewed households were goats, chickens, and sheep. Figure 3 shows the percentage distribution of reported livestock.
