Hydrology

ESSA aims to conduct research hydrology to:

1. Establish the conceptual models of highland-lowland and hydrology-land use interrelations and drivers of change
2. Assess water quality and GHG emissions from the water sources in the highland and lowland areas as a function of land and water use
3. Evaluate adaptive land and water management practices to compensate for hydrological changes
4. Assess the water balance of two rangeland systems
